CRUISE
WITH IGA AND EARN YOUR CERTIFICATION AT SEA
Now is the time to experience an amazing cruise while earning
your certification. Your 2010 International Tour Manager Certification
Program at sea is scheduled for 10 October to 22 October
(13 days, 12 night cruise) while onboard the NCL Dawn.
Classes on the ship are conducted only during the 6 days you are
at sea. You have no classes while in any of the ports-of-call. The
cruise begins in New York City and ends in Miami, FL. We are
currently accepting enrollments for this program. Your registration
fees hold the class space and berth for you.
There are 6 full days of class while we are at sea,
beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending 5:30 p.m. They are conducted in
a private meeting room. Outside of classroom hours you are free
to participate in all ship activities. Please note: you will be
spending some time in individual and small groups for study and
preparation as well as three hours on a motorcoach upon leaving
the ship in Miami. Most of the assignments can be completed prior
to the start of the cruise program. Of course, all meals, entertainment,
in-port excursions, etc. are available to the students and guests.
Worried about the extra cost of certifying
and cruising solo? Students willing to share will
be assigned a student roommate. You will have the opportunity to
talk with your roommate prior to the start of the program. You
may bring non-student guest travelers at the published double occupancy
rate. Non-students cannot attend any of the classes but
can join you at your graduation ceremony, on the motorcoach portion
of the program in Miami, and (outside of classroom hours) enjoy
all the ship and shore amenities with you.
Take advantage of low prices and
special bonus offers.
The cruise portion cost per person (2 people to
a cabin) is US$899.00. This price includes
taxes and fees. This is less than US$70.00 per day and
the price is lower than on the NCL web site.
The total price for this International Tour Manager
certification program is the same as in any of our USA or international
locations. There is a $200.00 registration fee and $1425.00 tuition
for a total of $1625.00. If you enroll by phone or fax, the original
signed enrollment form must be received within 7 days of your enrollment.

do not miss the cruise departure on the 10th. NCL requires you to
be onboard no later than two hours before departure at 16:00. On
your flights home please consider that the ship arrival time in
Miami is scheduled at 8:00 a.m. which means that getting off the
ship can begin about 9:00 a.m. and can take up to two+ hours for
you to leave the ship and clear Immigration and Customs. Upon arrival,
all students (and guests if they wish) will board a motorcoach for
their narration portion of the program. This will take 3 hours.
Then, the motorcoach will go to the airport and drop off students
and guests departing that day at 14:00. Late afternoon flights (16:00
or later) are needed.
We suggest enrolling as soon as you can make an
informed decision. Last year's program filled almost three months
before sailing date.
Space is limited and based on availability. This
cruise with NCL, and certification program by IGA, is capacity controlled,
subject to availability and will be closed for enrollment when maximum
capacity in the program is reached. With more than 3 months to sailing
date, over 45% of the IGA berths available for this program, are
already reserved.
Your enrollment form for the IGA Certification
At Sea program is included when you order
a catalog. As with all of our other courses, you may
enroll by telephone, fax, email, or mail as you wish.
All students and guests should have a valid passport, with at
least 6 months before expiration, to board the ship.
